Past Working Experience

My healthcare career began in the hospital setting as a teenager, working in the Central Supply department. That early experience inspired me to become a Surgical Technologist, leading to many years in the Operating Room while pursuing my nursing degree. As a Registered Nurse, with over 25 years in healthcare, I have gained diverse experience in Neonatal and Adult Intensive Care Units, surgical assisting for General and Vascular Surgeons, and leadership roles including Education Quality Specialist and Medical Supervisor. I am also a Registered Vascular Technologist, performing vascular ultrasound examinations and contributing to the diagnosis and management of vascular conditions.

About Me

My husband and I live on a lake, where we enjoy spending time with our children and their families. We are grateful for the beautiful sunrises we get to enjoy each morning – it’s a wonderful way to start the day! We also enjoy traveling and take yearly vacations to warm destinations, with Puerto Vallarta being one of our favorite places.

Past Working Experience

My healthcare career began at Mequon Vein in 2014, where I worked as a medical assistant before pursuing formal ultrasound training and returning as a sonographer in 2021. In between, I gained experience as a vascular sonographer at ProHealth Care in Waukesha (2016–2020) and as a pool sonographer at Froedtert in West Bend, working across a variety of clinical settings.

About Me

I’m a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credentialed in vascular, abdomen, and obstetrics with over 10 years of experience. My family and I live in an old farmhouse in the country, where my husband and I are raising our daughter. We love spending our free time up north at our family cottage or at our camper. We have always had a bit of a need for speed—whether it’s boating, snowmobiling, on the Harley, or four-wheeling. We’re old souls who appreciate simple things and enjoy old country and classic rock. I’m grateful to have returned to Mequon Vein as a sonographer, where I love building connections with patients, providing compassionate care, and helping people feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.

About Me

I’ve lived in Wisconsin for just over six years but I’m from Urbandale, Iowa (Go Hawks!). Before becoming a medical assistant for Mequon Vein nearly three years ago, I attended Marquette University where I also ran track and field, specifically the hurdles. Currently, I’m living in Downtown Milwaukee with my fiancé, Sean, and our two cats, Padfoot and Binx. When I’m not at the clinic, I’m working out, spending time with friends or enjoying Mother Nature.

My Goal, day in and day out, is to make sure our patients have the best possible experience with our company. I work to make sure that our patients are educated on what their options are and the costs that may be associated, including the role of insurance in everything that is involved with a specific care plan. Patients should feel heard and have peace of mind before undergoing any type of treatment and, if I have don’t my job correctly, they will be the experts when that moment comes. Our team is here for you every step of the way

About Me

When Matt is not bouncing from one room to another in clinic, he enjoys spending time doing the things he loves. Matt and his beautiful wife Tamara are new, first time parents to their very sweet and very vocal baby girl. In their free time, they enjoy hiking the woods of Wisconsin with their Australian Shepard Thor, attending Bucks games as season ticket holders and going to the Milwaukee Zoo. Matt’s ultimate favorite pastime is to be a home body, waking up and doing nothing for as long as his wife will let him. If there is anything he can do to make your experience everything we wish it to be, please do not hesitate to let him know.
